FILERECOVERY® is a safe and
affordable do-it-yourself data
recovery solution that is
designed to recover lost and
deleted files from all types of
media such as hard drives,
optical drives, flash media
drives, and multi-media or
mobile devices.
FILERECOVERY® recovers files
whether they have been deleted
from the command line, from
within an application, the file
system, or removed from the
recycle bin.
In addition FILERECOVERY®
recovers formatted or lost
drives, drives with a severe
logical file system damage, and
can even reconstruct lost RAIDs!
Supported
Operating Systems and File Systems
FILERECOVERY® for the Mac
runs natively under the Mac
OSX file systems 10.4 and
higher, and supports all
partitions using the
HFS/HFS+ file systems. It
will also allow scanning and
recovery from FAT formatted drives
as well!

This is an advanced
feature that requires
knowledge of how network
client access is handled. It
will also require additional
network access that may need
to be changed by your
network administrator.
Please also note that the
DEMO will not allow any
files to be saved. You will
be able to preview the data
in text, hex, or in cases of
images, thumbnail preview.

Recommended Hardware Configuration:
-
Mac - Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, HFS+
file system on PPC or Intel Mac, running at 600MHz or Faster.
- Minimum of 512 MB RAM - More is better
- A Storage Drive or Network Drive
at least as large as the amount of
data you wish to recover
Product Limitations:
- This software is NOT
able to find data on a
physically damaged drive!
- Not every file can be
undeleted: less fragmentation
(common if media not full) will
increase the rate of recovery
because the entire data is
stored at the beginning of the
first
cluster
of a file. The probability of
recovery is lower, the smaller
the disk capacity relative to
the file size is.
- Overwritten data cannot be
recovered completely.
- Fragmented data on Windows®
FAT drives cannot be recovered
if the FAT cluster-chains have
been erased
- Data with damaged or missing
index information cannot be
recovered completely.
NOTE:
To preserve the drive with the
deleted files, all recovered files
must be saved to another storage
device or another drive in
the system. Do not download the
software to the drive that you want
to recover.
FILERECOVERY® Professional
2010 is currently available in
English only. Very soon, it will be available in Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian,
Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.
